Burchell’s zebra All zebra’s have a distinctive black and white striped coats and heir stripes come in different patterns, unique to each individual animal. They are generally social animals that live in herds.
The plains zebra’s range spans much of southern and eastern Africa south of the Sahara. Its habitat is generally within grasslands and savanna woodlands. They generally avoid desert, dense rainforest and permanent wetlands, and rarely stray more than 30 kilometres from a water source.
