Skulls and Skins are amongst the largest retailers of ethically and sustainably sourced animal skulls and hides. All of the items Skulls and Skins sells are obtained from Government sanctioned and strictly controlled culling or farming operations.

Skulls and Skins imports almost everything it sells, so we take pride in the quality of the products we provide.

Gone are the days when animals in the wild were seen as being only worth the value of a trophy in some Gentleman’s Club.  Poaching of animals has still not been totally eradicated unfortunately, but Skulls and Skins Australia work with suppliers to ensure integrity of the supply chain and all major suppliers are known personally to us.

Although a large number of animals throughout the world are threatened with dwindling population numbers and extinction, there are numerous other animals which have overpopulated large areas of countryside and are dying out due to overgrazing and then starvation, which are the predominant source of the products Skulls and Skins Australia sells. 

As animals are sourced for their meat through farming or sustainable hunting methods, nothing goes to waste as the animal by products such as the horns, supplies a whole new economy supporting the local indigenous populations.  People in the areas that our products come from used to rely on poaching to survive but through working with local governments, they are able to make an honest and reliable income from a sustainable and renewable resource.
