Description

It is relatively small, reddish and grey-brown and well-adapted to cold environments. Roe deer are widespread in Europe and reach a maximum lifespan (in the wild) of approx 10 years.

A very quick and graceful deer that primarily live in woodlands, although it may venture into grasslands and sparse forests. They feed mainly on grass, leaves, berries, and young shoots.
